Kay Young is hosting creatively Well at The Women’s Centre on Saturday the 24th of August between 10am-2pm.
Kay will be offering different workshops to help with your health and well being.
Everyone is invited to a community celebration of CanalCraft project’s participants’ achievements in building boats, making films and learning about life near the canal. The Forth and Clyde Canal Society will display the boats, show the films, share homemade food, dance, sing and listen to music. Participants will receive awards and they will have the opportunity to talk about their experience to friends and family.
Participating groups: Maryhill Integration Network, The Women’s Centre Glasgow, Lambhill Stables. CanalCraft is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This event is free, on Friday the 21st of June between 6pm-8pm and is being held at The Engine Works, Glasgow, 23 Lochburn Road, G20 9AE.
Denise has organised this years trip to Ayr on Thursday the 4th of July. Ticket’s cost £3 which will take you to Ayr, buffet lunch in the Ayr Services Club with Bingo, Karaoke and some other entertainment. It is a full day of fun leaving the centre at 9:30am and arriving back around 7pm. Get your tickets at the Reception.
