Forest bathing means taking your time in a woodland to engage your senses. Activities will include slow walking, meditation and other exercise to connect with self and nature.
Research shows that forest bathing boosts the immune system, increases energy, decreases anxiety, depressions and anger and reduces stress, bringing about a state of relaxation.
Please come along, the sessions will be held on Thursday mornings with the outdoor element lasting 1 hr 15 minutes. We will meet at MIN’s community room at 35 Avenuepark St, G20 8TS at 9.30 am to get ready. Waterproofs will be provided. Transport to and from the woodland (Dawsholm Park) by taxi will also be provided. We will return to 35 Avenuepark St for 11.30 am, debrief and close session by 12 pm.
